Rob and his wife Jan are well known and highly respected within our Community. They are proud parents of two handsome young men.
Darrell was born, raised and educated in East Maitland. After leaving school, Darrell spent 10 years as a motor mechanic and in 1968 joined the Department of Motor Transport. This was followed by becoming the Mechanical and Enforcement Officer in the RTA until retiring in 2006.
Approached by Tony and Margaret to join Fry Bros, he has found it satisfying to help people in their time of bereavement as well as working in a great team environment. The Fry Bros team is much appreciative of his wife, Rhonda, who makes us the most scrumptious goodies for morning tea! He also loves sharing his home grown veggies with the Fry Bros team. Thanks Darrell!
Darrell involves himself within the community by serving in a local church and being involved with Morpeth Men's Shed. In his spare time, he works on compiling his family tree.
Robert (AKA Diesel) started working with the Fry Bros team on a casual basis 13 years ago, whilst running his own catering business.
Robert's outgoing personality and hospitality experience compliments his role with Fry Bros. His friendly face is welcoming and he is a wonderful support to families.
He prides himself in his involvement with local charities, namely Youth Off The Streets, and supports Friends of Palliative Care in their annual walk-athon.
A lover of the arts and music, Robert enjoys all the good things that life has to offer!
Annabelle is Tony and Margaret's eldest daughter and sixth generation Fry.
Originally trained as a Chef and worked around the Ports Stephens and Newcastle areas, Annabelle changed professions to work alongside her sister Dominique, co-managing Kitchen Gear Co in East Maitland for 5 years.
Annabelle joined our team at Fry Bros in 2013 and has found the time in the funeral business to be the most satisfying of her working life.
If you ask Annabelle, she started working at Fry Bros with the thought of it simply being another working experience. Now it has become much more than a job. It has become a passion.
Annabelle has a natural flair for the funeral industry, very much like her father.
Genevieve is Tony and Margaret's youngest daughter and sixth generation Fry.
She was only 15 years old when she came to work alongside her family and has become a valuable part of our Funeral Operations.
After completing her Higher School Certificate at Hunter Valley Grammar School, Genevieve completed a Psychology degree at University. The knowledge gained from this has greatly assisted Genevieve in working closely with families who are grieving. Her care and compassion to ensure the day of the Service exceeds the families expectations is at her highest priority. Helping families in their time of need gives Genevieve immense satisfaction.
Genevieve thoroughly enjoys working closely with her parents, two sisters, uncle, and the Fry Bros team as a whole. Genevieve works actively in the Funeral Operations side of the business as well as working closely alongside Tony and Margaret on the future of the business.
Dominique is Margaret and Tony's 2nd daughter and is the Finance Manager at Fry Bros. Dominique has been actively working in this role since February 2016. Dominique enjoys assisting families in their time of need. Previously Dominique worked and managed Kitchen Gear Co East Maitland for many years after completing management studies. Dominique has two beautiful children Bianca and Logan who are quickly becoming part of the team.
After completing High School at Maitland Boys High I attended Newcastle TAFE where I gained my Mechanical Engineering Certificate. This allowed me to work in various positions in the Steel Mining and Construction Industries. I formed my own company and still work part time with that. Upon retirement I was looking for something to occupy some spare time. I was approached by Tony at a funeral I was attending in 2014 and commenced with Fry Bros shortly after that.
